From: Greg Kroah-Hartman Date: Wed, 28 Nov 2007 23:59:15 +0000 (-0800) Subject: Driver core: move the static kobject out of struct driver X-Git-Tag: v2.6.25-rc1~1243^2~45 X-Git-Url: http://pilppa.com/gitweb/?a=commitdiff_plain;h=e5dd12784617f0f1fae5f96a7fac1ec4c49fadbe;p=linux-2.6-omap-h63xx.git Driver core: move the static kobject out of struct driver This patch removes the kobject, and a few other driver-core-only fields out of struct driver and into the driver core only. Now drivers can be safely create on the stack or statically (like they currently are.)
