From: Jens Axboe Date: Sun, 14 Sep 2008 12:55:09 +0000 (-0700) Subject: block: unify request timeout handling X-Git-Tag: v2.6.28-rc1~733^2~48 X-Git-Url: http://pilppa.com/gitweb/?a=commitdiff_plain;h=242f9dcb8ba6f;p=linux-2.6-omap-h63xx.git block: unify request timeout handling Right now SCSI and others do their own command timeout handling. Move those bits to the block layer. Instead of having a timer per command, we try to be a bit more clever and simply have one per-queue. This avoids the overhead of having to tear down and setup a timer for each command, so it will result in a lot less timer fiddling.
